Wealden District Council has ordered a road closure on Ashdown Forest for Remembrance Sunday 12th November for the safety of Ashdown Forest staff and participants to the event, between 9am and 1pm.
The Crowborough Road/Stonehill Road will be closed to All through general vehicular traffic (including cyclists) between the cattle grids. Access will only be allowed for parking for the event and emergency services.
Please respect the Ashdown Forest staff marshalling the event.
A diversion will be in place via Lampool Corner.
Car parks adjacent to the Airmans Grave area will be free for the duration of the event.
There will not be a poppy drop this year. More details will follow in the next few days.
