Education
If ever there was a classroom to bring learning to life, it’s Ashdown Forest. A place to step into a truly interactive experience, whether it’s a lesson in biology, ecology, geography, history or literature.
Expect hands-on activities, from exploring the Stone Age to Winnie-the-Pooh.
We welcome everyone from pre-school to university level, and thanks to funding from Natural England and the Friends of Ashdown Forest, our education programmes support students to learn from the rich environment around them.
Ashdown Forest is a living text book to touch and feel, a unique way to help young people connect with the natural world.
We are passionate about sharing this rich environment with the next generation, to help them understand their surroundings, and help to shape the future.
