A fun outdoor session for families

About this event

Tracks and trails – make your own tracking stick, look out for signs of animals or try casting a plaster footprint.

Children need to be accompanied by an adult however adults do not need to buy a ticket. Buy tickets for children only (£5)

Most suitable for children aged 5 years and over.

Please come dressed to be outside in all weathers with long trousers and closed toe shoes/trainers.

Family Fridays on the Forest – Woodland Crafts

A fun outdoor session for families

About this event

Woodland crafts – have a go at making string from natural materials and see if you can use this to make your own bow and arrow. Try out Viking weaving or have a go a felting with wool from our Hebridean sheep.

Children need to be accompanied by an adult, however adults do not need to buy a ticket. Buy tickets for children only (£5)

Exhibition – How Ashdown Forest was saved for the Nation 

The exhibition by Ashdown Forest Research Group is on display at the Ashdown Forest Centre.  Opening times may vary, depending on volunteer availability.
