August 21, 202211:00 am - 4:00 pm

Winnie the Pooh Trail and Teddy Bears Picnic

A family trail to discover some of Winnie the Pooh’s favourite places on the Ashdown Forest.

About this event

Bring your teddy for an adventure on the Forest. Follow the footprint trail and discover some of places that Winnie the Pooh and his friends liked to visit.

Along the way complete a ‘tiny’ challenge and make a felt bee to take hunting for heathland flowers.

Come to the information table close to Gill Lap car park to start the trail.

It’s a bumpy ride for pushchairs, so walk if you can. Approximately 1km.

Please buy tickets for all members of the family that are coming.

Bring a picnic to have when you have finished the trail.

Please wear long trousers and closed toe shoes.

Gills Lap car park can get busy at weekends, there is alternative parking at Quarry and Piglet car parks . Refreshments are available from the coffee hut in the car park . There are no toilets at Gills Lap, the nearest public toilets are at the Ashdown Forest Centre, Wych Cross.
