Outdoor Explorer – Spring

Discover the sounds, sights and smells of early spring through games natural craft and walking in this half-term activity at Ashdown Forest Centre.

You will need to come dressed to be outdoors and willing to get muddy.

This is an outdoor session with shelter in the Education Barn in wild or wet weather.

Suitable for children aged 5 and above accompanied by an adult. Please book one ticket per child, accompanying adults are free.

Outdoor Explorer – Charcoal pencils and tree shapes

Learn the ancient craft of artist’s charcoal making and make your own charcoal pencil in this half-term activity at Ashdown Forest Centre.

This is a great time of year to see the bare bones of the landscape and winter trees before spring really gets started. We will be going outside and looking at the shape of nature.

You don’t have to be a great artist to enjoy this session but if you like making things and want to take a closer look at nature this is the session for you.
