Guided Nightjar Walk

Join the Ashdown Forest Warden and Ranger on an evening guided walk from the Ashdown Forest Centre to learn more about the Nightjars and how you can help us protect them before they begin their long journey back to Africa. If we are very lucky, we may come across some other nocturnal wildlife during our walk too.

Please be aware that wildlife is unpredictable, and we can’t guarantee that you will see Nightjars on the night.

This walk is free of charge and there is no need to book, just turn up on the night. Unfortunately, this event is not suitable for dogs due to the Nightjar’s sensitive nature.
