Nightjars and night-time, a walk for families

This is an opportunity to celebrate the return of Nightjars to the Ashdown Forest for the summer . You will find out more about the life of these amazing birds and enjoy a wild night out on the Ashdown Forest. Hopefully we see or at least hear a Nightjar during the evening. We may also find bats and other night-time creatures along the way.

Bring some snacks to keep you going during the evening.

Not suitable for pushchairs as the ground is uneven and some paths narrow.

No dogs please.

Most suitable for children aged 8 and above.

This walk may have to be postponed in wet weather.

Please buy a ticket for each member of the family attending.

Please wear long trousers and boots or strong shoes.
