Forest Governance

The Board of Conservators was set up in 1885 and is regulated by the Ashdown Forest Act 1974.  There are sixteen members on the Board with representatives from East Sussex County Council, Wealden District Council and local Commoners who live on and around the Forest.

The Board and committees meet regularly throughout the year.  These are public meetings, and the dates, agendas and minutes of these meetings are below.
