Remembrance Sunday service – Sunday 13th November
This year’s service will take place at 11am at the Airman’s Grave. The Crowborough Road will be closed to through traffic between the Duddleswell crossroad and the Nutley cattle grid between 9am and 1pm to ensure the safety of the public and Ashdown Forest staff attending the service.
The car parks will be open for those wishing to attend the service. Access from Nutley will only be to Friends car park. Access from the Duddleswell end will only be to Box car park. We advise you arrive before 10.30am to give ample time to walk down to the Airman’s Grave. Please be advised that the Forest is very wet and muddy.
Horse riders: please note that Box car park will be closed to horse boxes and trailers until the road re-opens in the afternoon. All horse riders should ensure their permits are displayed.
We request that all dogs should be on leads throughout the service and on the walk to and from the car parks.
